F95zone contains a lot of features that can be easily overlooked by some users. But these features are quite useful and can help you enhance your productivity as you do more with F95zone, whether it’s for work or play. Check out this list of 8 awesome features you might not know about f95zone to learn more about them and how they can help you get things done!
1) The content archive
This is a fairly new feature on f95zone and one that’s seen very high praise from our users. In addition to being able to look up an old post you can search for posts by keyword or tag, browse through our most popular articles, as well as view content based on your user level (beginner/intermediate/advanced). Users who find something they like are given a preview screen before they commit to loading an entire old post—so if you accidentally hit view you don’t have to worry about wading through 500 lines of code just to find out what it was. This might seem small but we think it’s a great feature and one you should be aware of.
2) The forum archive
It’s sometimes hard to imagine that a simple site filled with other people’s questions and answers can offer so much—but it does. One of f95zone’s best features is its massive forum archive, which you can use to gain access to tips, tricks, and advanced knowledge on just about every programming topic imaginable. And if you haven’t found what you’re looking for in your specific area of interest? Open up a new topic and ask! The community is warm and welcoming—and certainly curious as well! So share your knowledge as well as you can; if you look for it, there’s a good chance someone else will be able to find value in your thoughts.
3) The cheat sheet archive
There are lots of cheat sheets out there, but what sets f95zone’s archive apart is how easy it is to access. For example, you can easily browse every cheat sheet ever made by simply pressing ctrl+f and typing cheat sheet in. But if you want to save time and avoid having to sift through page after page of search results, you can click on one of our top-level links (located at top right). Whether you have a specific project in mind or just need a refresher for those not-so-fresh coding skills, our archive has something for everyone.
4) The Free for All section
At f95zone, there’s something for everybody. If you’re into gaming and engineering, you can start your own user profile and engage with other users on a variety of platforms. And if you are a complete novice who doesn’t know much about computers, that’s fine too! Just learn how to download games and install them without getting in over your head. Even better: many of these games have tutorials built-in to show beginners how it all works. It doesn’t matter what your skill level is; as long as you are willing to learn, chances are good that you will find something at f95zone that catches your interest.
5) Reddit AMA – Ask Me Anything
Reddit is one of the largest and most popular social media sites in existence. It’s also well known for being a hub for AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions with notable celebrities, politicians, scientists, artists, and more. If you’re famous and interesting enough to host an AMA on Reddit, it can be a great way to get exposure for your product or service. This level of visibility is so valuable that companies will often host AMAs for their employees who aren’t actually that famous – just because it adds legitimacy to their brand.
6) Additional resources archive
The Additional Resources page is one of my favorite features at Stack Overflow, as it highlights a whole other community that’s grown around Stack Overflow and contributes significantly to our success. There are also many resources in there that can help answer questions that we don’t know how to ask. As with programming, if you want to learn something new it’s always best to start by knowing what others have learned before you. When you run into an unfamiliar concept, look in our archive for a solution someone else has already built—even if you have no idea what it does or how it works yet. I guarantee someone else will understand! Or at least be able to explain why they don’t… which is often more than half the battle.
7) Twitter archive
If you’re using twitter, archive your tweets. This is a really simple way to save all of your past tweets. When you run a search on twitter, make sure to use sort by relevance. That way, if people are tweeting about topics that matter to you but not directly to you, it will show up in your results! In addition to regular twitter searches, use #hashtags when tweeting about conferences or events (if relevant) and attach an image with your tweet. Make sure it looks good before sending it out! If someone re-tweets one of your tweets, don’t worry about responding back -they might have linked it for their followers who aren’t already following you on Twitter!
8) Accessibility & compliance
If you’re looking to create an app, don’t skimp on accessibility and compliance. Search engines place a high priority on meeting industry standards in these areas, so it’s important to start with a framework that provides out-of-the-box solutions for things like screen readers and push notifications. Don’t write your own code when there are easy solutions available; otherwise, your app will be weighed down by excess features and could miss being mobile friendly. At least one of your team members should know how to write tests; they’ll help ensure no bugs get into production.
